My work might best be characterized as stylistic contrasts. Usually narrative, my paintings range from mimetic portraiture to conceptual and perceptual art.After several years painting with local and itinerate artists I entered The Atlanta College of Art in 1998; graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree
in 2001. Currently I teach a continuing education class at
Kennesaw State University and adult and high school art classes in my studio.
I continue to be involved in solo and group shows and belong to several art groups in the Atlanta area. My passion remains painting the face and figure, usually interpreted through ideas relating to women. I enjoy doing commissioned and non-commissioned work. My paintings are at Distinctive Designs and Fine Art Gallery in Marietta, GA.
